I am beyond pleased with this high chair. I have such a love hate relationship with high chairs. They keep my child safe and sitting during meals, but they are such space hogs and are usually awful to clean. I think this chair is as close to my perfect as it can get.Setup: It took me maybe 5 minutes to set this up and wipe it down. I did refer to the instructions once’s to make sure I put the legs on properly. The front legs were labeled BL and BR. I found that BR went on the right side if I was looking at the chair. Everything slides and clicks into place very easily. It comes apart just as easily.Size: This chair has a much smaller footprint than a standard high chair. The photo compares it to the ingenuity high chair. If you are short on space I think this is a wonderful option.Cleaning: So far it is a breeze to wipe down. There are far less nooks and crannies for crumbs and smooshed things to hide. The flat side buttons on the tray are easy to spray off in the sink. The chair base is also very easy to wipe down. If needed, the leg separating piece is also very easy to remove and rinse. The top half of the harness can be easily removed from the back for cleaning. It does look like the bottom piece of the harness requires 2 screws be removed to access it for removal. While I find that slightly cumbersome, I had to remove 12 screws to remove that piece in my other high chair.Safety: This high chair is light and easy to move, but it is not flimsy. The first thing my baby did was grab the foot rest and stand up. I was immediately there to support him and the keep the chair study, but the chair didn’t budge.Convertibility: The different ways this can be used is extremely useful to me. I love that it can be used without the tray and at different heights. When my baby is done needing this, the stool height will fit his toddler table very nicely. I also like that it’s very easy to fold the legs in for storage, but it’s still a 2 part lever system for safety. You would not be able to accidentally fold these legs in and collapse the chair.Considerations: I think this high chair is appropriate for an older baby. The seat is much wider than my other high chair. At 12 months old my baby has the right amount of trunk support to sit in this chair safely. At 6 months I do not think we could have used this chair. I’d say once he started pulling to stand his trunk strength was around where I’d feel good about this chair. It’s also important to note that in high chair mode the baby is set in from the top like a restaurant high chair. It’s not quite as convenient as those you can set in from the front, but I prefer it because baby is safe in the chair when the tray is removed. Lastly, you cannot adjust the back angle, but you can adjust the tray. You do need to use 2 hands to remove the tray, but you don’t need to remove the tray to remove or place the baby.
